My friend Alex and I have shared a lifelong passion for outdoor adventure. So when he asked if I would join him to shoot a 9 day expedition to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, my decision was made regardless of dates or rates. This wasn't even about making money - it was about fulfilling a lifetime achievement with one of my best friends. 28 years of rock climbing had just barely prepared me for the journey ahead.
